Dining Solutions Direct - A wonderful way to eat gourmet Years ago, gourmet food was out of reach for most people. In fact, the term gourmet was probably alien to many people. Amazingly, there are specialist companies that can source and deliver the same gourmet standard food that these top hotels and restaurants use themselves but charge only one fifth of the price. What's more, the food has been individually quick frozen which locks in all the flavors and goodness until it's ready to be consumed. This technique has been welcomed with open arms, especially by the busy professional. Even great restaurants are now using the individually quick frozen method as there is absolutely no deterioration in the food. Flavor, color and texture are all maintained at the optimal level because these foods are frozen at the point they are prepared. It's a tremendous idea. We all like the freshest of foods and by using this quick frozen system, we will always receive the food in amazing condition. A great amount of the fine food is able to be cooked in the microwave. It's been around for many years and the very fact that the dishes are quickly frozen after being prepared, creates the perfect dish for cooking with the microwave. A great example of this is chicken.

Most supermarkets add a large amount of water to their chicken breasts to inflate the weight. This is often proved by the way the chicken deflates and appears dry and tough after cooking. It almost always ends up dry and shrunken. Gourmet chicken on the other hand, when supplied by the right company has absolutely no water added. When cooked in the microwave, the water molecules are agitated to the point that they grow extremely hot. This has the effect of cooking the chicken from the inside out so an even heat distribution is created. The chicken does not shrink, all the succulence and moisture is retained and the chicken tastes out of this world.
