Are you known as the queen of good deals? Do your friends get jealous of all of your great finds? Have you earned the title of Little Miss Frugal? Then welcome to my world. We are soul mates. I live for a deal. I don't ever want to pay full price.
When I first started challenging myself to be more careful about what I was spending, it took a LOT of work. I would search magazines and newspapers for coupons. I would compare the sale ads on Sundays with my stack of coupons. Not only was it time consuming but it made a mess of my kitchen table as well.
When the internet came along, it completely changed how I bargain shop. Yes, I still save up all of those coupons from the Sunday paper. I occassionally clip out a coupon from a magazine. But my very best savings tool in my frugal tool belt is my computer.
I have discovered price comparison websites. And they have changed my life. My kitchen table is no longer a mess. My scissors have been given a break. The savings are at my fingertips now.
Price comparison websites allow you to find exactly what you are looking for and then see how much that product is going to cost you at a variety of different places. You can even read reviews from others who have tried the product.
So let's say you are looking for a deal on your Nivea skin care products. You will be able to look at all the different products that they offer and before you even walk in the store, you'll know all of the pros and cons of that product and you'll be able to get the best deal on the ones you want.
One word of caution though: Some of these sites that promote themselves as good for your budget will actually charge you money to save. That's not very frugal, is it? The whole point here is to keep your money in your pocket!
One of my favorite sites that does not have hidden charges is getprice.com.au
So what are you waiting for? Put down the stack of newspapers, grab your cup of coffee and start browsing online. Let the savings begin! Featured Sponsors Netpardon.com online reputation management
