A commonly-known idea in bodybuilding is the idea of the three beams - working out, diet, and sleep. Succeeding in building quickly depends on how well you manage these three simple factors.
Here are some tips on how to manage these factors efficiently:
1)Eat like a horse:
You won't build muscle mass no matter how hard you train at the gym or how long you sleep as long as you're not eating enough calories.
First, you need to determin how many calories you need in order to garner your current weight. You can do that using the Cunningham equation.
After you know how many calories you need to take in to maintain your current weight all you need to do is take in 20% more calories and you'll start gaining muscle mass fast!
2)Count calories:
The headache with skinny guys is that they generally overestimate the calories that they take in when in actuality they eat like birds.
Count every calorie you eat so that you're certain that you're eating a sufficient amount to gain muscle!
3)Eat healthy, calorie packed whole foods:
In order to not gain noticeable amounts of fat while you're eating 20% calories beyond sustainment you'll have to say no to all the unhealthy junk foods or you'll quickly pack on a serious amount of fat. Trust me, you'll never regret it.
Another big thing to look out for is to take in calorie rich foods. For instance, compare how many calories there are in 100 g of rice and how many calories there are in 100 g of broccoli. Without a doubt rice is much more calorie dense. This is important since you've got limited space for food in your stomach so make sure to fill it with calorie dense foods.
4)Do weightlifting:
Remember, you have to train or you'll get plain fat!
Your optimum bet is to find a strength training routine like Stronglifts 5x5 or WS4SB that consists of compound exercises designed to make you both big and strong.
5)Get enough sleep:
Growth hormone is released in the time of sleep so you have to make sure you get decent sleep every night.
Universally, aim for 8-9 hours of uninterrupted quality sleep.
6)Resilience:
We went over factors like working out, nutrition and sleep, but the mental factor is just as big. Too many are the people who start off with flaming devotion on a decent training plan routine but who don't see immediate results and because they just aren't resilient enough they quit in the middle of it.
The key to success is creating the right strategy and sticking to it. It may take more time than you initially thought but if you stay resilient for long enough the success you seek will come to you sooner or later! Featured Sponsors Netpardon.com online reputation management
