Temporomandibular or craniomandibular disorders are composed of a collection of pathologies that have an effect on the chewing muscles, the temporomandibular joint (TMJ), and the connected structures. Temporomandibular disorder is defined a musculoskeletal disorder that affects more than twenty five percent of the general population. Temporomandibular disorder is frequently manifested by one or more of the followings: pain, joint sounds, mouth mobility limitation, muscle and joint tenderness. It is commonly associated with other health conditions that affect the head and neck area such as headache, ear-related problems, and cervical spine conditions. Patients suffering from chronic craniomandibular disorders usually report conditions such as depression, poor sleep quality, and lack of energy. Furthermore, chronic temporomandibular has been found to interfere with normal social activity and personal relationships. Featured Sponsors Netpardon.com online reputation management
