If you're a diabetic, you will be happy to know that you can eat desserts! You are able to still enjoy the foods that everybody else eats. You have to be more selective, but there are many choices for you nonetheless.

Do not believe within the common myth that diabetics cannot consume sugar. There are many tasty desserts available you are able to eat. You can still slim down if you feel free to the occasional treat. Just as long as your physician tells you that it's okay to eat dessert, then you can achieve this occasionally! The internet is stuffed with hundreds of diabetes dessert recipes for cookies, sundaes, pie, cake, and much more.

Here are a few diabetes dessert recipes that you might find useful.

Warm Apple Cinnamon Cobbler
4 apples - sliced, cored, and peeled
2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon
1 cup of water
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 cup of whole wheat pastry flour
1/4 of cup fructose
14 cup of canola oil
One teaspoon of baking powder
1 tbsp of honey
1/2 cup of low-fat buttermilk

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Combine water, apples, cornstarch, fructose, and cinnamon in a sauce pan over medium heat.
Pour the apple mixture into a dish.
Combine the pastry flour with the baking powder to make biscuit dough.
Add the canola oil and stir well.
Next, add the buttermilk and honey, and stir with a fork until the mixture is moist.
Pour the biscuit dough around the apples with tablespoos.
Bake for 20 minutes or so until done.
Serve warm and revel in!

Strawberry Banana Sundae
1 package of sugar free strawberry gelatin
6 ice
1 cup of boiling water
4 fresh strawberries
4 tablespoons whipped topping

Take a small bowl and allow the gelatin to dissolve in boiling water.
Let the bowl cool for 10 mins.
Place the ice and gelatin in to the blender, cover, and process until ice is dissolved.
Add bananas, and blend for an additional minute or two.
Pour into four dishes, and refrigerate for thirty minutes or until set.
Garnish each having a strawberry and tablespoon of whipped topping!

Almond Biscotti

1/2 cup of sugar
1/4 cup of finely chopped almonds
4 egg whites---lightly beaten
2 teaspoons of almond extract
1/4 teaspoon of salt
2 cups of all purpose flour
2teaspoons of baking powder
2 tablespoons of margarine

-Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F. Put the almonds right into a baking pan, and then bake for seven or eight minutes. Watch carefully for that almonds to show golden brown, and then put aside.

-Beat margarine and sugar into medium-sized bowl with electric mixer. When smooth, add egg whites and almond extract. Still mix, and then combine flour, salt, and baking powder right into a large bowl. Mix that as well, after which stir almonds and egg white mixture into flour mixture. Make sure it is well blended.

-With cooking spray, spray two 9" x 5" loaf pans. Evenly divide the dough and spread it between pans. Spread evenly over the bottoms of the pans with wet fingertips.

-Bake a quarter-hour or so. Insert a knife in to the center to ensure that to control your emotions.

-Turn loaves onto cutting board, so that as soon because they are cooled off, cut each into 16, ?" thick slices!

-Place slices onto baking sheets sprayed with cooking spray. Bake for five more minutes; turn slices over and bake five minutes on other part, or until golden brown.
