How many times have you gone looking for shoes, but come home empty handed? Finding a good pair of shoes should not be stressful. Too many of us are indecisive when we try to buy a pair of shoes. You discover a pair of shoes that look great but you are still reluctant to buy them. You're continually second guessing yourself when you get prepared to buy the shoes. Well, keep reading and you'll learn what to look for and how to make your shoe shopping experience much easier.
Don't Ignore Your Comfort
You shouldn't sacrifice comfort for style. It's amazing how many women I know who buy an incredible pair of shoes only to never put them on again because they are too painful. Just because they look incredible in the store doesn't mean you'll be able to overcome the torture of wearing a painful pair of shoes. Any fans of the TV shoe friends out there? If so, then you certainly remember Monica's attempt to wear a pricey pair of leather boots. Ouch that had to be painful. $600 down the drain and feet covered with blisters was all she got.
A Versatile Shoe is Always Better
Unless you're rich and can manage to buy a new pair of shoes for each and every outfit you own, then it's vital that you get shoes that are versatile. The more outfits you can wear them with the better. Stick with dark colored shoes since they can easily be mixed and matched. Black, brown, and gray particularly are good colors to go for. Consider the style of the shoes as well. A pair of trendy leather boots isn't going to be as versatile as a cute pair of medium heeled sandals.
Getting versatile shoes rings even truer when you're going after high end shoes. Obviously if you're grabbing a $30 pair of shoes, you don't have to be as cautious. However, if you are spending $200 on a pair of designer shoes, then don't you want to get a lot of use out of them. I know I would.
Concentrate on shoes that stay in style. In other words, avoid trends. The trendier the shoes, the more likely they will go out of fashion quickly. There's nothing worse than buying a pricey pair of shoes that were so last season. Buy shoes that will always be in style in spite of the latest trends. A great new website that has popped up recently which offers a variety of stylish shoes that you can choose from is ShoeDazzle. Here you can search for all of the shoes listed in this article.
