Ever wasted hours of your day in search of shoes? Why is shopping for shoes such a headache? Unfortunately I am very particular about what shoes I purchase. Some people say I am indecisive, but I don't agree. I just want nice shoes. For those that have issues finding decent shoes, here are some easy tips to follow the next time you are thinking about what shoes you want to buy.
You Need Comfortable Shoes
Remember you'll have to walk in those shoes. If they look wonderful but feel terrible, then you will regret it. I promise. I've got a closet full of beautiful shoes that I never wear because they are just so painful on my poor feet. So unless you want feet covered in band-aids and blisters, get shoes with a little comfort. And don't worry, finding stylish shoes which are comfortable is not impossible. It just may take a little more effort on your part. But it will absolutely be worth it in the long run. Trust me.
Buy Shoes You Can Put On More Than Once
Only rich girls can buy new shoes for every outfit in the wardrobe. If that's you then you can stop reading right now and go buy another pair of Louis Vuitton heels. For the rest of us regular girls we need to be a bit more practical. This means buying shoes that are versatile. Consider the color and style and decide whether the shoes can go with more than one of your outfits. A pair of black or brown shoes easily fit the bill. A nice pair of high heeled sandals can go with a dress or even a pair of your favorite jeans. That's sounds like versatility to me.
Buying versatile footwear never becomes more important than when you are buying pricey designer shoes. Clearly a $20 pair of sandals from PayLess isn't going to matter that much. However, if you're spending more than $300 for some amazing heels, you are going to want every opportunity to show them off. And I doubt you'll be wearing the same clothes every day. So do your best to get a pair that will go with a number of your favorite outfits.
One last tip when shoe shopping is to steer clear of ultra trendy stuff. Go for shoes that are classic and always in fashion. Otherwise your amazing new shoes could be out of style before you even get to show them off. That's the big problem with trends. Only the rich can afford to buy into them as each new season rolls around. For everyone else, we have to stick with what will hopefully stay in fashion for many seasons to come. One of the best ways to stay up on new trends without going broke is joining a website like ShoeDazzle. It offers personal stylist recommendations to its members each month. And despite having an incredible variety of stylish shoes, the prices are very reasonable. Featured Sponsors Netpardon.com online reputation management
